At J&C, we understand the marketing landscape has changed. Clients can no longer invest solely in traditional ATL advertising and expect an impressive ROI. If your marketing plan does not include an understanding of your various consumer personas and touch-points, your Omni-Channel Marketing Strategy may need some finetuning.
Smart money is on the brands that understand their customers – their tribes. These brands have invested their time and money on relevant industry insights, carrying out research and meeting customer expectations. The new world is data-heavy. The information is there – your customers are giving it to you. But do you know how to get it? And more importantly, do you know how to use it?
We are a multi-award winning catalogue agency, and our creative thinking is what sets us apart.
But it’s not enough to be exceptionally creative – your print and digital campaigns must be underpinned by an intelligence that ensures they successfully engage and communicate with your target market.
Our wealth of knowledge in the print and digital space is backed by the expertise of our company directors, who both hold more than 20 years’ Retail Marketing and Design experience.
Our team thrives on delivering outstanding creative and production design solutions for our clients. Let us show you how.
J&C specialise in sourcing travel, health, leisure & lifestyle experiences and packaging them into a rewards loyalty platform at a price that our clients can afford to reward all their customers.
Unlike competitions, a guaranteed reward where everyone’s a winner is a massive motivator for customers and it provides our clients brands with an excellent point of difference in a competitive market place.
We manage everything in-house; from sourcing the rewards and providing the campaign copy, handling the terms & conditions, imagery and logos, to delivering award-winning creative, cutting edge digital and fantastic customer service with transparent reporting.

Many consumer brands are focused on traditional advertising avenues, but long-term customer nurturing will pay better dividends in the end.
While a customer has clearly put their hand up and told you they love your brand (by purchasing), it makes complete sense to continue to engage with, and nurture, that customer over the ‘long-term’.
Too many retailers still do not look after those who are already advocates for their brand. Know your customers’ personas and give them what they want, when they want it, for as long as they want it.
Let’s chat – we can help you achieve this.
Maintain Freedom’s reputation as the market leader in beautifully designed publications with a new season catalogue that showcased its quality, on-trend furniture.
Our team created an exceptional piece of communication reflecting the colours and trends of the season, presenting New Zealand’s most stylish furniture and homewares to a busy, style-conscious audience.
The winner at the 2014 Australian Catalogue Association Awards, our catalogue was also a hit with a delighted Freedom NZ team – another of our loyal and long-term clients.
Build a state-of-the-art website for this global events giant. Sophistication was key in complementing SR’s stable of high-profile international speakers and satisfying discerning corporate clients. The seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies was essential.
Our web team utilised its in-depth knowledge of the very best tech elements in the market, bringing together the sexiest, most intelligent platforms available. Think functionality that speaks to an astute target market, and encourages add-on sales – and greater profits.
The Success Resources team was so impressed with the execution of the entire brief – on budget – they
asked us to develop another corporate web solution. SR’s events continue to sell out, and customer
retention continues to rise. These results speak for themselves.
To get the cake making enthusiasts to be more engaged with the Foxtel Lifestyle Food channel. The campaign will have TV and Press support, so the execution needs to involve our main Social Media Channel; Facebook.
Our creative team got together to explore ways of spreading the word like wildfire; everyone who loved baking cakes had to be a part of this campaign. With a small appliance giveaway and a clever Facebook App, we were able to entice foodies around Australia to upload their favourite home-baked cakes; encouraging friends, family, even complete strangers to vote for their cake in an effort to get the most likes and be crowned the winner.
Foxtel’s Lifestyle Food Channel had a Facebook customer base of 16,000 likes when we started working on the campaign. On the completion of Foxtel’s most successful campaign, we managed to secure Facebook likes to a staggering 60,000. It’s no wonder why we work on this campaign for them every year.
Assist Bras N Things with creating an exciting place to shop for women’s lingerie. Ensure the communication in-store in simple, modern and effective. Any consumer campaigns or in-store executions (Store Design) need to surpass our customers’ expectations.
We rolled-out state of the art signage solutions with the Store Development team at Bras N Things. With the use of beautiful greyscale lifestyle imagery, we mounted magnetic signage around the walls of key new stores. We created stunning in-store collateral for various campaigns; such as Christmas, Moet & Chandon and Playboy.
The new stores look amazing and sales during our campaign periods were well above expectations. With the in-store execution of Christmas arranged by J&C, we were delighted in hearing about record sell-out timings. Customers were responding well to the new look windows we had created, the POS we had designed and the new collateral materials used in-store. We also relied on our supplier network to assist in producing all of the materials required for each campaign; saving Bras N Things money along the way.
Boost shopper traffic – and sales – at BBRC’s Home centres during the peak school holiday period. To achieve this, it was essential we enhanced the centres’ appeal to a broader family market.
We seized the opportunity to initiate a partnership between BBRC and 20th Century Fox as the animated movie Home was hitting the big screen. This not only leveraged strong publicity from the film, but also ensured shoppers were treated to home renovation prizes (5x $1000), meet-and-greet characters and free movie passes.
BBRC and 20th Century Fox were so delighted with the campaign’s success, a long-term relationship has developed with future cross-promotions in the pipeline. Needless to say, the centres were inundated with shoppers – and sales exceeded expectations.
Undergo a procurement review of Sanity’s marketing elements & supplier network.By tapping into J&C’s supplier network & affordable pricing structure; see what savings can be made for the 200 store strong retailer.
We rallied up the team and went to tender. We reviewed catalogue print pricing, design fee’s, POS signage and store delivery timings; all to ensure Sanity maximize their retail buying potential.
After presentation of the new pricing structure; J&C was awarded the Printing of Sanity’s 8.4 million catalogues per year, plus their Catalogue and POS Design. Sanity was ecstatic that we were able to save them an incredible $120,000 in our first year. They have been a loyal client every year since.
MrVitamins has been an exciting brand to work on. We had an established vitamins brand in Chatswood (2 stores), that wanted our help to take on the world (starting with Australia) with their unique selling proposition – having expert advice (practitioners in-store at all times) and best prices.
We got to work on further developing the brand and giving it a design refresh, so as to not confuse the current clientele, but to assist in adding a wider customer base in other areas. Once the client was happy with the revised branding, we moved on to the various advertising elements required to sell more vitamins; Online, POS, Catalogues, Store Development, Signage, Digital Media support and more.
MrVitamins have now launched their 5th store and they are looking fantastic and customers are voting with their feet (coming in to buy). They are taking the market on with confidence and are standing by their USP’s.
Keep an eye out for a MrVitamins store near you, it won’t be long…
Increase coffee sales, grow the customer database and revitalise franchises with a fresh, new promotion.
Cafe2U’s mobile coffee vans took on a colourful, aspirational persona to promote our Ultimate Adventure Gear competition – also publicised through our social media campaign.

Develop concepts for Prime West Auburn Megamall’s Christmas campaign to be used across multiple events and marketing during the holiday season.
A playful approach using a traditional Christmas wreath with a modern twist – designed with retailers’ products.
The wreath of products highlighted the opportunities for gift buying at the centre and reminded customers that PWAM was an alternative destination for seasonal gift buying outside of traditional shopping centres.
With a clever aesthetic combined with additional Christmas offers and entertainment, the Christmas campaign saw increased foot traffic to the centre and positive feedback from retailers and customers.
At their most lucrative time of year, when millions of travellers are passing through airports, our brief was to create a Christmas shopping guide that presents world-class products and inspires Christmas shoppers to buy more astutely during the holiday period.
An exceptional, elegant, on-trend and premium shopping guide delighting customers with a unique selection of gifts from the duty free range. Copper foil was used throughout the guide to lift product and content from the pages in a marriage of classic meets modern design, enticing customers to purchase highlighted festive season products for family and friends.
Distributed throughout Melbourne airport retail channels and an online version available on the dutyfree.com.au website to prompt online sales.
The catalogue exposure reached tens of thousands of passengers each day, boosting Christmas sales across categories both in-store and online.
SPASA (Swimming Pool and Spa Association) is a peak industry body, representing hundreds of businesses within the pool and spa industry. Their members set the standards of skill, workmanship and ethical business behaviour, for the best interests of pool and spa owners.
To uphold this industry excellence, J&C were commissioned to design the SPASA Essentials Magazine.
The SPASA Magazine needed to promote their members products and services, as well as outlining the importance of dealing with SPASA members when building a pool or spa. The J&C production team worked with SPASA on all the finer details, to deliver a quality publication – on time and on budget.
A client for over 5 years now, speaks for itself… The client was very impressed with the fast turnaround of the job and the level of quality that was delivered. The use of beautiful imagery and relevant, clever content has kept the SPASA Essential Magazine a key advertising tool for SPASA and must have item for all future pool and spa owners.
Rituals wanted support from J&C to launch their brand, which was new to Australia. The brand had to stay true to its European roots. Supporting Rituals with branding material across the two new stores roll-out. (Parramatta & Miranda)
We adapted the European material for the Australian market. Ensuring we communicated this beautifully presented brand to the right customer mix. From hoarding signage to training manuals, POS and digital marketing… we kept the Rituals customer front of mind in all executions in-store & externally.
The stores look amazing. They stand out from the other retailers in the busy Westfield Shopping Centres. They have been a massive hit with the locals. Products like the amazing shower foam and body scrubs are flying off the shelves. We look forward to rolling out many more stores with Rituals in the years to come.
